In 2023 Leif Bergman, a Certified Civil Engineering Technologist founded Norse Inspection as a way to bring his 15 years of construction inspection experience out of the world of commercial and infrastructure construction projects to the world of home inspection. In addition to having a long time interest in photography, Leif has taken his interest beyond handheld cameras to the world of aerial photography. 

Since 2007, Leif has performed material testing and visual inspections on dozens of construction projects across Northwestern Ontario. Leif started his inspection career on Ministry of Transportation highway projects, expanding into bridges, building foundations, roof installations, electrical work and plumbing. 

Leif is a graduate of the Carson Dunlop School of Home Inspection and of the Civil Engineering Technologist program at Confederation College. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists and Technicians (OACETT) holding the title of Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) with 15 years of inspection and Contract Management experience. Leif is also a certified drone operator carrying a license issued through Transport Canada.
